Vanguard: how Black women broke barriers, won the vote, and insisted on equality for all / Martha S. Jones.
This book made an impact on my life both personally and professionally by highlighting how innovation, strategy and creativity can be used to break barriers even amidst great challenges and opposition. It is a universally inspiring read about the paths to freedom and justice for all.

Check out this book from the Black History Month display (tall shelf in Library's 1st floor lobby) during the month of February 2023. After February 2023, locate them by the call number in the link.
