In commemoration of Black History Month 2023, Sims Memorial Library is celebrating the history and authors in the Black Community with a display in the tall shelf in the Library's first floor lobby. Check out those resources and the pages dedicated to them in this Research Guide.
In addition, each week during February, one faculty member will share a work(s) that is/are meaningful to them and why. Each week that work(s) of fiction or nonfiction will will be featured next to the tall shelf in the library’s first floor lobby.
This project was made possible through the efforts of Dr. Elizabeth Hornsby, Assistant Professor and Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Communication and Media Studies.
