Federal Register or Federal Register 2.0 or 2nd Floor Serials U.S. documents microfilm -- Docs. Film 400 - The Federal Register (FR) is a daily publication that contains rules, proposed rules, and notices of Federal agencies and presidential documents.

Code of Federal Regulations or Reference Room U.S. document stacks -- AE 2.106/3 - The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) is an annual publication that contains the general and permanent rules of Federal agencies. It is divided, by subject, into 50 titles. There is also a Finding Guide and CFR Parts Affected from Federal Register available.

The Rulemaking Process - This guide describes each step in the rulemaking process as followed in the FR and CFR using a Q&A format. Information such as how the final rule appears is included.

Regulations.gov - This website allows individuals to read and to comment on proposed regulations.
