Parking
There are four handicapped accessible parking places reserved for users with limited mobility (2 in front of building, 2 across the street).
Building Access (main entrance on SGA Drive)
Sims Memorial Library is wheelchair accessible through the main entrance on SGA Drive. Library users requiring special accommodations may inquire at any service desk in the Library.
- The far left, front entrance door is a power-assisted door operated by a push pad.
- Public elevators provide access between all four floors of the building.
- Security gates, just inside the front doors, allow for wheelchair access.
- Study rooms can be reserved in advance. Phone (985) 549-3968.
- Computers on low tables in Reference and Serials accommodate wheelchair access.
- Photocopiers are wheelchair accessible. Staff at public service desks can help individuals with photocopying library materials.
- Wheelchair accessible stations with access to the Library's online catalog are available on all four floors of the library.
- Wheelchair accessible stations with access to the Library's databases are available on the first and second floors of the library.

The map (PDF) shows accessible parking and other information for the entire Southeastern Louisiana University campus. Visitors should visit the University Police Department and obtain a vistor's parking hang-tag to display along with the state issued handicapped designated licence plate, placard, or hang-tag.
