Upcoming Appearance of Silas House at Southeastern

UPDATE: The English Department will host a series of readings to build anticipation for Silas House's upcoming appearance and highlight his creative work. Students will be reading from House's short stories and the novel, Eli the Good. The readings will be held Tuesday nights at 7pm from February 19 - March 19 on the 3rd floor of Sims Library and last about 3 hours.

Schedule for Silas House readings in Sims Library:

February 19 - 7p.m.

February 26 - 7p.m.

March 5 - 7p.m.

March 12 - 7p.m.

March 19 - 7p.m.

Note: The English Department will welcome Silas House to campus on March 25, 2013. To celebrate his appearance, students will present various readings and dramatic skits in the morning starting at 9:30 am. A question & answer session will follow at 11 am. Mr. House will read from a selection of his choosing at 7pm. NOTE: the events of March 25 will take place in the Student Union Theater.
