Course Reserves

What are Course Reserves?

Course Reserves are supplemental course materials that are chosen by faculty for students in their classes. Reserves can be borrowed for 2 hours, overnight, 3 days or 1 week (decided by the instructor). Reserves are only available for currently enrolled Southeastern students, faculty, and staff.

About Course Reserves

We are happy to assist faculty with placing course materials on reserve for student use. Reserve items may include books, personal copies, articles, multimedia, and other course-related materials.

Books placed on reserve are held at the Circulation Desk (1st floor) for students to check out. Student can lookup these reserve items by searching the library's catalog by instructor or course name.
Journal articles, book chapters and other course reserve materials that can be digitized are placed on electronic (e-reserve). Students can access e-reserve materials via links in the library catalog.
Multimedia (AV equipment, DVDs, videos) on reserve are held at the Media Service Window (2nd floor) for students to check out. Students can lookup these reserve items by search the library's catalog by instructor or course name.
