Compilation of Presidential DocumentThese documents are official publication of materials released by the White House Press Secretary. They can include proclamations and statements regarding issues and legislation, including those related to the environment.

Executive Orders - Executive Orders come from the President and have the force of law. This website provides all Executive Orders from 1994 to present. For older executive orders, the National Archives can be helpful.

Public Papers of the Presidents of the United States or 4th Floor stacks -- J80.A283 - These public papers contain writings, addresses, and remarks of a public nature, as well as photographs. These sources can contain information regarding issues and legislation, including those related to the environment.

Treaties in Force or 4th Floor U.S. documents stacks -- S9.14 - These are treaties and international agreements of the U.S. which are in force as of the stated publication date. The website also features pending treaties.
