Dissertations and Theses Information

Sims Library provides access to doctoral dissertations and master's theses from universities around the world through ProQuest Dissertations and Theses database.

All disserations and theses from students at Southeastern are uploaded to this system. Select theses and dissertations may be withheld from view for a period of time as requested by the author.

Bound print copies are also kept on the fourth floor of Sims Library near the "oversize" collection on the southeast side of the building. The basic call number is: LB2371 .S87. An archival copy is kept in the Center for Southeastern Louisiana Studies (third floor of Sims Library).


    Southeastern Dissertations and Theses - 4th Floor

    Candidates for master's and doctoral degrees are required to pay for the cost of having his/her thesis/dissertation typed and bound. The University charges $12.00 for the first two copies, and $9.00 for each additional copy. Thesis binding fees must be paid to the Controller's Office prior to submission of the thesis or dissertation.
