Biological Journals and Abbreviations
List of biology journal abbreviations and complete titles. Many journal article citations in biology use abbreviated journal titles. This is one of a number of sites that can help you decipher the abbreviations and track down the journal you need!

Genamics JournalSeek-- "The largest completely categorized database of freely available journal information available on the internet."

 National Biological Information Infrastructure -- Collaborative program to provide increased access to data and information on the nation's biological resources.  [Sadly, de-funded by the government. :-( ]

 ScienceDaily-- "One of the Internet’s most popular science news web sites... Updated several times a day with breaking news and feature articles, seven days a week, the site covers discoveries in all fields of the physical, biological, earth and applied sciences."

Scirus-- Search engine developed for scientists, researchers, and students. Allows users to search for a variety of indexed scientific information including journal content, scientists' homepages, courseware, pre-print server material, patents, institutional repositories and websites.

Tree of Life -- Collaborative Internet project containing in formation about phylogeny and biodiversity.
