SocioWeb -- SocioWeb is an independent guide to the Sociological resources available on the Internet and was founded with the belief that the Internet can help to unite the sociological community in ways never before possible.

American Sociological Association (ASA) -- From their website: "The American Sociological Association is a non-profit membership association based in Washington, DC dedicated to advancing sociology as a scientific discipline and profession serving the public good."

Institute for Women's Policy Research -- From their web site: "Our Mission: The Institute for Women's Policy Research conducts rigorous research and disseminates its findings to address the needs of women, promote public dialogue, and strengthen families, communities, and societies."

Anthropology Online Sources

American Anthropological Association -- The AAA is the world's largest organization of individuals interested in anthropology.

Anthropology Resources on the Internet -- This section/page from the AAA  provides a variety of links. Look under the heading "In This Section" on the left side of the page.

National Anthropological Archives -- Sponsored by the Smithsonian Institution, the archives provide digital and physical archives of historical anthropology.

Center for a Public Anthropology -- A large archive of anthropology journals from the late nineteenth-century to the present.
