Louisiana Office of State Climatology -- Provides daily, weekly, and monthly climate summaries for the state, as well as links to additional weather information.

National Climatic Data Center Weather/Climate Events -- Environmental information.  NCEI is responsible for hosting and providing access to comprehensive oceanic, oceanic, atmospheric, and  geophysical data.

National Weather Service Natural Hazard Statistics -- Provides information and statistics on weather related hazards and includes the type and date of weather events, states impacted, number of deaths, and monetary damage.

Southern Regional Climate Center -- The Southern Regional Climate Center is one of six NOAA Regional Climate Centers administered by the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). It is located at LSU and serves the six-state region that includes Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. Its site includes current weather information, climate summaries, and a climate atlas.

Offshore Weather Data-- This web page displays decoded current and past offshore (buoy, ship) observations. Data displayed includes sea-surface temperature, air temperature, winds, wave heights and periods, and sea-level pressure. Hurricane/Typhoon/Tropical cyclone-focused maps are also provided.
